What a Week of Panda Express Costs
The combo structure makes weekly math simple: a Bowl is $8.50with one side and one entree, a Plate is $10.50 with two entrees, and kids eat from $6.80 with a cub meal. Five bowl lunches run $42.50 before tax; swapping two of them to plates adds $4.00 for the week.
| Sample week | What's in it | Weekly cost | Avg calories/meal |
|---|---|---|---|
| Budget five-day | 5 × Bowl (side + entree) | $42.50 | ~700 |
| Standard five-day | 3 × Bowl, 2 × Plate | $46.50 | ~820 |
| Family Friday added | Standard week + 5-person Family Meal | $91.50 | varies |
Published prices; tax excluded. Calorie averages assume a rice or noodle base with a classic entree.

Why Plan a Week at Once
Deciding lunch at lunchtime is how a budget goes sideways. Laid out as a week, the same orders become obvious: two heavier days sit next to lighter ones, the total lands where you wanted it, and nothing has to be worked out in a queue.
The budget bar is the part that changes behaviour. It tracks what the week costs against the number you typed, so a plate swapped for a bowl shows up immediately. Calories total the same way, and the Panda Express nutrition calculator breaks down any single meal in more detail.
Meal Planner FAQ
How does the Panda Express meal planner work?
Pick a day and a meal slot, add up to five items to it, and the planner totals the week's cost and calories as you build. Set a weekly budget and the progress bar shows how much of it the plan spends.
Is my meal plan saved?
Yes, on your own device. Save Plan stores the week and your budget in this browser and restores it automatically next visit. Nothing is uploaded and no account is needed.
How much does a week of Panda Express cost?
Bowls run $8.50 each, so five bowl lunches cost about $42.50 before tax. The planner totals your exact picks, and the cheapest published item is Barq's Root Beer at $2.20.
Why do some items show no price?
Panda Express does not publish standalone prices for a la carte entrees. Those items still count calories in your plan, and their cost is covered by the Bowl, Plate or Bigger Plate that contains them.
Can I print the plan?
Yes. Print / PDF opens a clean weekly table with every slot, prices, calories and your totals, ready to print or save as a PDF from the print dialog.
How many calories should a day of meals be?
The common reference is 2,000 calories a day. The planner shows the week total and the per-day average, and the nutrition calculator on the homepage breaks a single meal down nutrient by nutrient.
